All Life Comes from an Egg

All Life Comes from an Egg is an Easter food event curated by ArtyFarty Cooking. Greek customers are amongst the majority who visit theLS6 Café, and with this Cafe being heavily inspired by cultural elements, it became an important driving force behind the concept of this affair. The event focuses predominantly on Greek traditions and their rituals surrounding Easter, a special occasion where friends and families get together to eat, drink, talk and dance along with the red dying of eggs. With ArtyFarty Cooking’s main aim to re-design the way we consume food for the better in Western Culture, this event has been designed to do just that through an innovative ‘eating experience’.
On arrival the visitors will be presented with a palette incorporating modern chocolate eggs along with paint brushes and only RED food ingredients to represent Greek traditions and to evoke the fond childhood memory of decorating Easter eggs. The visitors are then free to decorate and eat the eggs. ). This event aims to use cultural influences to evoke memories, create social bonds and enforce an enhanced experience with food which is today not celebrated in abundance as it once was in Leeds.
